The Academic Staff Union of Universities has commenced a nationwide strike as a result of the breech
of contract by the federal government.
In 2009, the federal government reach an agreement with ASUU to pay 12,500 month earn to them
but since then it has not implemented that as a result ASUU takes this strike.
